Securus®
The Securus® Revision Stem System, based on the proven Furlong® fully hydroxyapatite ceramic coated (H-A.C.) stem design, with its full interchangeability between proximal bodies and distal stems, 6 trays of instrumentation, including distal targeting for locking screws, meets these challenges.
Key features of the Securus®
Rough H-A.C. Supravit® Zoned Coating on proximal body
Rough H-A.C. Supravit® zoned coating applied to the proximal body, designed to enhance initial fixation by increasing surface roughness and promoting bone in-growth in targeted areas.
Distal Locking
Distal locking on the Seurus stem provides additional mechanical stability by securing the implant within the distal canal, helping to control rotation and axial movement—particularly useful in cases with compromised proximal bone support or complex reconstructions.
Different size options
Monobloc 250mm options 11mm & 12mm
Modular distal stems – 250mm – 11mm-18mm
Modular 300/350mm -13mm-18mm
A-P anatomical bow
The A–P anatomical bow of the Securus stem is designed to mirror the natural anterior–posterior curvature of the femoral canal, allowing the implant to align more closely with the patient’s native anatomy
Proximal wire holes
These facilitate secure fixation of the implant in cases involving fractures, osteotomies, or compromised bone, helping to stabilize bone fragments and enhance overall construct stability during the healing process.
